Galvanized TOE Pipe Nipple Description:

A TOE pipe nipple (welding nipple) is a nipple of thread on one end and has a male thread on one side and a weld end on the other side, which is used as another method of connecting tube fittings. These welding nipples are suitable for use under extreme conditions of vibration, pressure surges, and changes in temperature.

Used to obtain a threaded connection on the end of standard scheduled pipe sizes rather than O.D. tube sizes, so that NPT pipe threaded fittings may be attached.

The advantage of welding nipples is that once the unthreaded end is connected, you can more easily connect pipes or other fittings to the threaded end.

2, These galvanized toe pipe nipples are held in place with a standard compression coupling. They are available in carbon steel and stainless steel. Specify length when ordering;
3, Galvanizing can increase the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe nipple and prolong the service life;

5, For piping systems that require to be connected to welded pipes or fittings, 'welding nipple' is used. The welding nipple has a threaded connection on one end and a normal cut pipe at the other end. The unthreaded end of the pipe provides more surface area for the use of welding materials to make a stronger connection. One main benefit of welding nipple is that once the unthreaded end is connected, connecting pipes or other fittings to the threaded end becomes much easier.
